Icelandic Sheep

Icelandic sheep are a dual coated, 100 year old primitive breed.  They are excellent meat and milk sheep, and their fiber is valued for the range of natural colors and combination of strength and softness.  They are good mothers and twin reliably.

Unless otherwise noted, all Green Fence Farm sheep are registered with the Canadian Livestock Registry, the official registry for all North American Icelandic Sheep, and the US Scrapie program.  We breed for heat tolerance, mothering ability, health, and fiber quality.  Most lambs were born in April.

Unless otherwise noted, ram lambs are $250, ewes are $400.
